Welcome to the RusCham’s web-site!
The Russian European Chamber of Commerce (RusCham) is an independent business network association funded by membership and sponsorship. RECC is not affiliating with any government or political party.
RusCham’s network membership is made up of enterprises and entrepreneurs from the member states of the European Union (EU), other European and NIS countries and the Russian Federation, which have business activities with and in the Russian Federation, NIS and Europe. These members determine the overall strategy and policies of the organization.
The RusCham was established and registered in the European Union with representative offices in various countries. The RusCham's most important assets are its members. They are our clients, our workforce and our strength. Our mission is to promote and support the development of commercial relations between the Russian Federation, EU and the international community.
We seek constructive solutions to trade and investment problems, which protect and promote the legitimate common economic interests of our network members. We do so with integrity and respect operating in host countries.
The Russian European Chamber of Commerce promotes the entrance into the market of new foreign investors who consult with the RECC to gather information and make contacts necessary to fulfill their strategic business plans. The Russian European Chamber of Commerce acts as a bridge and is always the first contact for companies interested in the Russian or European markets.
The Russian European Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of small, medium and large internationally oriented investors and businesses helping to ensure their success.
Due to the open nature of our business network, the Russian European Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of the entire internationally oriented investment community operating in Europe, NIS and Russia.
The presence and position of European companies in Russian and Russian companies in Europe are constantly increasing.
Europe enlarged and now shares borders with Russia. Bearing in mind that the European Union (EU) constitutes over 60% of Russia's trade and that EU imports have growing, it is evident that cooperation and understanding between Russia and Europe has fundamentally improved. The European Union's support of Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) has paved the way for the resolution of many of the traditional areas of dispute.
Business in Russia has also taken great steps forward. In an increasingly successful effort to become an integral part of the European trade and business turnover, Russia has achieved a level of progress in one year that would be feasible for most emerging markets only over a period of many years. Russia's recent legislative developments, banking reform and the new Customs Code being notable highlights, have constituted a major contribution to a more stable investment climate for Europeans.
Thus, with the essential conditions for doing business in Russia and Europe already in place, the future looks bright. Nevertheless, the Russian European Chamber of Commerce continues to actively work to further improve our business environment. The Russian European Chamber of Commerce is a business network association, which today not only adapts to, but also shapes the business environment of which we are all a part. We seek constructive solutions to trade and investment problems, which protect and promote the legitimate common economic interests of our network members. We do so with integrity and respect operating in host countries.
Our mission is to promote and support the development of commercial relations between the Russian Federation, EU and the international community. Truly yours, Dr. Sergey Shuklin President of RusCham
