Business Networking
In support of the association's core activities, which actively work to improve the business environment for businesses in Russia and Europe, the Russian European Chamber of Commerce (RECC) also provides valuable business networking opportunities for members. Russian European Chamber of Commerce serves as a center for assistance and information, including contact names and addresses, keeps members apprised of rapidly evolving government laws and regulations, and organizes monthly meetings for representatives of member businesses. RECC is an information center that gives much-needed information and contacts to visiting delegations, fosters co-operation between potential investors and established businesses, and encourages businesses to take advantage of business opportunities in the Russian Federation or Europe. Also RECC is enabling business representatives to air their grievances and create a common agenda of needs and concerns, to act as one voice in presenting that agenda to the governments and local business communities enable member businesses to collectively lobby for legislative and regulatory changes.
Business-to-Business Service
The RECC facilitates information exchange between members, both by pooling the considerable informational resources of member companies to provide relevant market information, as well as by regularly putting interested member companies in touch with each other.
Online Member Notice Board
The RECC provides the opportunity for member companies to post their news for public viewing on the RECC website. Members may submit press releases, advertisements for employment vacancies, or any other information of interest to the business community in Russia and Europe.
Receptions
The RECC organizes regular social events, providing members with the opportunity to meet outside the office.
Commercial Claims Resolution
The RECC's Arbitration Court serves as a speady and low cost way to resolve commercial claims for its members.
The Mission of the Russian European Chamber of Commerce is:
PROTECT - To protect and promote the common economic interests of its Members.
REPRESENT - To represent, express and give effect to the opinions of the Members of the Chamber on all types of economic, trade, commerce, finance, industry, and other issues.
INFORM - To collect and disseminate information concerning trade, industry, agriculture, finance, banking, transportation, health care, NGOs, manufacturing, technology, professional activities, taxation and related laws, economics, and other related topics.
ASSIST - To assist in a non-commercial, non-profit role, Members engaged in trade with, or considering enterprises in the EU, Russia or elsewhere to attain legitimate objectives.
MAINTAIN - To maintain good relations with the Chambers of Commerce and other commercial and government organizations of the Europe, Russia and elsewhere.
PROMOTE - To promote economic relations between the European Union, the Russian Federation and other countries with regard to trade, industry, agriculture, finance, transportation, health care, NGOs, manufacturing, technology, professional activities, and other related activities.
HELP - To undertake all other lawful actions incidental or conducive to the attainment of these objectives.
