[20.04.2005] German car supplier Getrag Ford Transmissions will build a new plant near the eastern Slovak village of Kechnec. The investment will total ?345 million and create about 750 jobs at Kechnec plant. Trial production will be launched in the fall of 2006 and the company will export its first products manufactured in Slovakia in January 2007. The annual output is estimated at 200,000 transmission units |
