KIEV -- Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said on Wednesday that Ukraine was considering reducing imports of Russian oil after Moscow imposed a big increase in duties. "After Russia raised export duties, what point is there in buying Russian oil if you can buy oil on the world market for the same $318 a ton?" Tymoshenko told a briefing after a Cabinet meeting. She said Ukraine could instead import oil through its pipeline network, notably through the planned Odessa-Brody route. (Reuters) |
