Putin proposes holding next Russia-EU summit in Khanty-Mansiysk

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed holding the next Russia-E.U. summit in the Russian city of Khanty-Mansiysk.

Putin is taking part in the Russia-E.U. summit in the Portugese city of Mafra.

The next summit is expected to take place in early June 2008, Putin said at a news conference Friday, adding that the exact date of the summit will be set later.
