No. 2 mobile phone firm VimpelCom said on Wednesday that its board was recommending no dividend for 2004 on ordinary shares, the same as in 2003.
"VimpelCom's board has recommended that the shareholders adopt a decision not to pay dividends on common registered shares based on 2004 results and to invest its profits into the business," it said in a statement.
The annual general meeting is due on June 22. (Reuters)
